Cenzino in Oakland

We tried to eat lunch here Wednesday at about 2:00. There were cars there and a person, who looked like a worker, behind the building. The front door was standing open, but we were unable to find any workers inside the building. We left after about ten minutes. I even yelled to see if they were in the back. You're probably better of going across the street. We did and it was great.

Nice, reasonably priced, great service. This place is pretty close to our home, so we were hoping it was good, and they definitely delivered! We'll be back!

I met a friend here for lunch. He said it had been a few years since he went to Cenzino. I told him that there are new owners, so we decided to try it out. The food was excellent. I especially liked the Polenta Con Salsiccia, Grilled polenta served with tomato sauce and crumbled sausage. For a great, authentic Italian meal in a relaxed and fun atmosphere, this is the place to go.

Your better off getting chef boyard. Their "homemade gnocchi" was a bunch of ricotta blobs that were cold to the touch. I give a place one chance and this is all they will get. Overpriced and really not that great at all.

Great time always!! Love the service...the atmosphere and the food. Never disappointed and one of my family's favorite place to go to celebrate all occasions. Always running into people I know who are also celebrating a good night. You will not be disappointed.

First time at Cenzino. Very nice interior and was pleasantly greeted. Waiter was attentive at first. But he got busy with one other table and seem to loose interest in our party. The food was good. But didn't match the price point. Drinks were insanely priced. A Hendricks and tonic $15 is a bit crazy. I have to be honest I wouldn't go back. Too ma y other great restaurants in Northern Jersey that offer great food. I must not be the only one that thinks this. It was a Friday night and only 4 tables occupied in the dining room. Also note to management-invest in some kind of barrier between bar and dining room. It was very loud and truly ruined the dining experience.

Delicious fresh meals with a nice variety to the menu & specials . Very comfortable tables and seating. Service was very good. Friendly modern n very clean atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

Came here for the first time tonight for dinner with a party of four, they offer valet parking which was great. When we got inside we we’re greeted right away by the host and seated,the dinner was amazing, our waiter knew all of the specials and always kept our drinks fresh, the owner is very friendly and courteous and checked on us several times, we ordered several appetizers and four main courses, all of the food was delicious and fresh. We ordered the blue point oysters, new zland mussels and fried calamari for appitizers all were delicious. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Prices are very responsible. We had the pleasure of meeting the chef who was very nice as well as the owner and his wife.Will definitely be back.

Was part of a wine tasting dinner. It was amazing. From the food (served family style), and the wine tasting ( all from Italy). It was a great night of food, wine and friends.

Me and Bishop had a great night tonight ! The food was amazing, good Italian cookin just like my nonna and the performance by Johnny Terrano was phenomenal!!! Great selection of food and an awesome atmosphere

Great food and service. Establishment has been here for quite some time but only went for the first time recently. Had a great meal and will be back again. Large attractive bar that is also a good place to have a drink and relax. Extensive wine list

The place was really good but the food came in a little late and was not as good as we expected. I guess the food is not worth the money they charged. Overall the food was OK, the people were friendly and place is clean and neat.

Fantastic sushi grade seared tuna. Ceaser with fresh anchovies too.

Food is always great. Never had a problem in years of ordering here. There service is great especially with what’s been going on with the panademic. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The food is outstanding! Compares favorably to the Little Italy section of Boston. The veal parm and the halibut are both simply terrific. End your meal with bread pudding and it's just like heaven. Let the waiters lead you ... you won't be disapointed.

I wish I could say that I had a good meal. I've been to Cinzano's many times before. Had an office party there a couple times and I've had very good food.I went there with four of my friends last Wednesday night (6/18/17) We ordered a special – veal chop off the bone. It was horrible! The staff offered to replace the meals- all 4 of them. Two of us ordered a veal chop on the bone. Was even worse!I don't know what's happened. The meal was prepared well, but the quality of the meat was absolutely horrendous - it was inedible.I don't think I'll ever go back there again.

Very well set up for safe outdoor dining. Service was excellent. Food fresh and well prepared. Pricey...
